Plan Now for Rummage Sale
Corpus Christi Catholic School community will be hosting a rummage sale on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11th from 7am- noon. Please go through closets, basements, attics, and anywhere hidden treasures may lie to donate to this worthy cause. Furniture is also welcome. Meals on Wheels Needs Volunteers
Lawrence Meals On Wheels is currently looking for volunteer drivers. We have regular weekly routes, as well as substitute positions available. Summer and year round positions are available. Each route takes less than an hour to deliver hot nutritional meals to 5-7 homebound individuals within the city limits, between 11:30 – 1:00. Training is provided. Nursery Opens starting with the 10 a.m. Mass on August 22
We are excited that the nursery will be now available for children infant to 4 years of age at the 10 am Mass. The nursery will open 15 minutes before the mass and will promptly close 15 minutes after Mass has ended. KU students comprise our nursery staff; therefore we will follow their academic calendar and will not offer nursery service when KU is on break. The nursery will open the weekend of August 22nd. It is located in Room 114 of the school. You can pick up the policies in the room when you register your child.
"Taste of Elegance" Silent & Live Auction
Lawrence Meals on Wheels will host their 6th Annual "Taste of Elegance" Silent and Live Auction on September 30th, 5:30 pm at Bella Sera Condominiums. Tickets are $35 and include an appetizer buffet, wine, and exciting silent and live auction items. Call MOW at 830-8844 for info.
